Veteran Story: Prior to his enlistment in WWI Logan served with the Militia 31st Battalion for four years. Logan enlisted for WWI Service No: N18629 with the Camel Corps, however he was found to be underage and was discharged after 28 days service. His war service in WWII was served overseas in Singapore and fortunately he returned to Australia prior to the invasion of that country by the Japanese. Throughout his service he suffered from severe Tendinitis and other ailments which saw him return early and Medically Discharged due to Hernia and Arthritis. Photo on File. Active service overseas a year 111 days. Logan died in July 1964 and is buried at the Field of Mars Cemetery, Ryde NSW.
